About our Presenters:
Dr. Kevin Slonka is a Principal Information Security Consultant at Concurrent Technologies Corporation in Johnstown, PA and also an Associate Professor of Computer Science & Cyber Security at Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA. Dr. Slonka’s industry career spans 25+ years with various government contractors, such as CTC and Northrop Grumman, and also small organizations, such as Precision Business Solutions and Sourceree. He has done everything from IT to software and network engineering to his current roles as a small business cyber consultant and the Information Systems Security Manager for a three-letter agency contractor network.
Adam Murphy is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sourceree. Adam is a defense and technology executive specializing in the convergence of AI, enterprise software, and national security. He spent the last 15 years building a premier technology firm that translates commercial innovation into mission-critical capabilities for the Department of Defense and the intelligence community. He has led efforts around building new capabilities, enhancing existing operational environments, and improving organizational performance which allows him to hold the alternate title of Jack-of-all-Trades.
David Pinkosky is the Business Opportunity Specialist at the Small Business Administration Western PA District Office. From starting a small business at the age of 18 to managing a city at age 22, to becoming a certified procurement professional, Dave has transitioned his business acumen to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Western Pennsylvania District Office as a business opportunity specialist. In his 16-year career with the City of Connellsville and the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission, Dave helped over 800 clients receive more than $900 million in government contracts from all levels of government. Since joining SBA in 2018, Dave has helped entrepreneurs and small business owners increase their revenues and cash flow through SBA’s numerous federal contracting opportunities and small business assistance programs.
